Vikas Bisht

Born on June 10, 1982, in the serene and spiritual town of Rishikesh — widely known as the Yoga Capital of the World — Vikas Bisht’s journey into yoga began at the tender age of 16. Drawn by a natural inclination toward inner exploration and holistic well-being, he soon discovered a deep and abiding passion for the ancient science of yoga.

From a young age, Vikas immersed himself in the practice and philosophy of Hatha Yoga, earning recognition for his dedication, humility, and intuitive teaching style. His path was shaped by a relentless commitment to learning, which led him to explore complementary disciplines such as acupressure, naturopathy, yoga therapy, and other holistic healing modalities.

Vikas’s love for yoga has always gone beyond the physical postures. His practice is deeply rooted in devotion, meditation, self-inquiry, and disciplined living. Under the guidance of esteemed yogis and spiritual masters, he honed the ability to teach with clarity, adjust students with precision, and guide with compassion and presence.

In pursuit of deeper understanding, Vikas undertook formal academic studies in the field. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed), followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Yogic Science. He further advanced his education with a Master’s degree (M.A.) in Yogic Science, completing a rigorous two-year program. He is also an ERYT 500-hour certified yoga teacher, registered with Yoga Alliance USA — a testament to his extensive teaching experience and profound knowledge of yogic traditions.

Today, Vikas continues to inspire students from around the globe. Through his grounded presence, authentic approach, and unwavering dedication to the yogic path, he shares the transformative power of yoga — not just as a practice, but as a way of life.
